Wisconsin is famous for more than cheese and beer, forest trails and rugged terrain are a vast playground for motorized outdoor enthusiasts. Thankfully, everyone in Wisconsin can enjoy plenty of forest space. So, just begin your forest travel.

1.Burma Forest ATV Trails

Location: South end, off of Hwy. 153

Dates Open: May-September; December-March

Fees: Free

WI ATV Trail Pass s required. Only ATVs and UTVs are permitted. No restriction to camping.

2.Chippewa County ATV Trail

Location: 22974 County Highway M, Holcombe, WI 54745

Dates Open: May 1 - November 15 (weather permitting)

Fees: Non-Residents - $50/rider. If purchased online add $4/shipping and handling.

The trail is only ATVs and UTVs permitted. In it UTVs are not allow more than 65 inches. And there is no restriction to camping.

3.Dead Horse Run Trail

Location: North side of State Highway 77, next to the Dead, Horse Slough

Dates Open: May - March 14 (weather permitting)

Fees: $5/parking; Annual Pass - $20

WI ATV Trail Pass s required. A limit to noise and maximum vehicle width. Camping is only allow in developed sites.

4.Georgetown Trail

Location: Fairview Road, Kennan, WI 54537

Dates Open: May - March 14 (weather permitting)

Fees:  Non-Residents - $50/rider. If purchased online add $4/shipping and handling.

The trail is mostly forest and cover with hard pack. But the road is flat and the elevation change is no huge, that’s why it also suit for beginners.
